HD Test (NS-DV720P)

HD test of my new Camcorder INSIGNIA NS-DV720P This is not a professional camcorder its just a quick little camcorder that you can whip out with ease. The zoom while recording is choppy, but its not a big problem. Another odd thing is that when you try to use a tri-pod its odd shape makes it very un balanced. So basically you will have to always be holding it. If you want to do a close up video, while recording you have to flick a switch between macro and long distance. I would of liked it if they put in the software of the camera, not the hardware. I like that it has a little light bulb (probably a led) which makes a nice light source when filming in the dark. The camera is very basic so theres little to get confused about. If you haven’t noticed its also in HD.

What is a good choice now? I want to connect the camera via FireWire or USB2. 0 for movies on my machine, then change the Premiere, Quicktime, or even Final Cut Pro Salespeeps can not even give me a good answer, someone has experience with this?
